From the history of the building
 

Historical mentions of Stein Brewery date back to the late 19th century. The Stein brothers brewed their first beer before Christmas in 1872. During the following period, the brewery produced up to 35,000 hectoliters of beer per year.

 

The entrance to the premises was located on what is now Blumentálska Street. According to historical photographs, a pub selling mainly Stein beer was part of the premises on today's Legionárska Street. In the first half of the last century, the premises underwent several expansions and construction modifications.
